Default Assignment Owner

Hello, here is a problem I have tried to resolve:

I have tree ressources A, B and C that I configured the Default Assignment
Manager to be X.

A, B and C don't see their Assignment in "My Task".
X does see all the assignments in "My Task".

A, B and C do see theirAssignment in "My Timesheet", they have fill and
submit the timesheet.
How do X will procedd to update "My Task" for the A, B and C task if
"Project Server" is configured for "Entry by timesheet only"?

Hope, that someone know.

You are confusing time entry with task progress submissions. In your
organization, isn't each person responsible for submitting his/her own time
on the My Timesheet page? Otherwise, what is your purpose for using the My
Timesheet functionality at all? If you absolutely need Manager X to enter
time and submit a Timesheet for A, B, and C, he/she can navigate to the My
Timesheets page and click the Surrogate Timesheet button to create, enter
time, and submit a Timesheet for resources A, B, and C. Hope this helps.

I think I misexplained myself. LET ME TRY ANOTHER WAY TO EXPLAIN IT.

A,B and C are responsible to fill their own timesheet and submit it.

The timesheet manager is responsable to make adjustments to the timesheets.

Once the timesheets are approved. The timesheet manager who is also the
ASSIGNMENT manager wants to update tasks and send it to each project manager.

How does the proxy can proceed. He is seeing the A, B and C task in "My
Task" because he is the "ASSIGNMENT MANAGER" but he is not able to import the
timesheet data neither to update the task manually since the server is set to
"Entry by timesheet only" ?

To support your scenario, I would consider downloading and installing the
Tied Mode solution available on codeplex.com. This is a solution provided by
Microsoft and sets the system for single entry, so that when the timesheet
is submitted, the task update is submitted as well. You can customize the
solution to meet your specific needs.
