default calander

This problem is in reference to Outlook 2003 w/SP1
I have an end user that has a default calander and shared calanders. The
user cannot open her default calander until she selects a shared calander
first, then she can open her default calander. She is not using alternate
calander settings. I tried all the kb postings and no resolution. Is there
a switch or setting that needs to be changed?

not sure what KB articles you tried, but this generally means there is a bad
view. Starting outlook with the cleanviews switch should fix it (but will
rmeove all custom views you have).
