Default Colors & Placement

George

I had such luck with previous question on this forum that I'm trying more.
Is there a way to change the default color of dynamic connectors? Even when
I change them manually, Visio seems to have a mind of its own and will
selectively change the color back to default, but only on a few lines when
the file is reopened.

I also experience a change in the placement when file is reopened. In some
cases, the connectors do not physically connect to a shape when file is
reopened, yet if shape is moved the line will reattach automatically to the
connection point. Sometimes (but not always) physically moving the connector
to a different connection point, then moving it back and saving file will fix
this problem as well as the color problem above.

The Dynamic Connector master is automatically created in the document's
stencil the first time you use the Connector tool.
Just delete the line you drew, then edit the master to be whatever color you
want.
Subsequent dynamic connector lines on that document will be as the master.
Of course, you can save your document as a template...
