Default contact and calendar views - Exchange please?

I have been using Entourage 2008 for a while now. Unlike many of the others, I really love the program. I especially like the feature that lets me connect it to our OWA calendar, which means I don't have to fire up a VPN when I'm working off-site. That is the BEST feature. Please don't ever remove it. :)

Now on to my question. I started with a local calendar and address book. I then moved to Exchange. Unfortunately when I click on my calender view (purple icon in top left of Entourage window) my Entourage client always defaults to the local calendar and address book (which are now empty). Not a big deal. I just looking for a way for it to default to the Exchange view of my calendar and address book instead of the local view.

Any way to do this?

Thanks!

If you go into Tools --> Accounts... and select your Exchange account
then you can click the Make Default button to make this your default
account. This will make your Exchange Calendar and Contacts list the
defaults as well.

Hope this helps!

I tried these steps as well, but the "Make Default" button is not grayed out as an option. I set up a POP account and when I click on that one it is available to choose. Is there a setting within my Exchange account set up that needs to be altered so that I can make it default? thanks

Open Accounts under Tools in the Menu bar. Select your Exchange account then
click on the "make default" icon (top right).

This will force the Exchange account to the top of the folder list and now
your Exchange calendar will be the default.

I'm sure Bill will correct me if this is going in the wrong direction.

The default button will not be active if you have either not selected an

details of your own problem, include your software versions and what
you've tried already to fix the problem.
