Default document not blank

Big Daddy

When I click on the icon to open Word, instead of coming up with a
blank document, it comes up with some words already there, from a
previous document I worked on. I have Windows XP and MS Wrod 2000. I
thought this might be an issue with the normal.dot template, but I
can't even find that template anywhere on my hard drive. Any ideas?
