Default E-Mail Folder Error

A

Aksotha

I just uninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft Office 2003 Student Edition and
still cannot get Outlook to work. When I open the program I get the
following message:

Unable to open your default e-mail folders. The server reported an error.
The server responded, "Precondition Failed."

I got this before and thought perhaps if I uninstalled and reinstalled it
would correct the situation. Unfortunately, it has not and the only option I
get in the pop-up window is to click "ok" which closes Outlook.

I tried going into "properties" and resetting my e-mail address and I still
got the same error message.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Aksotha

Try starting with a new mail profile.
