Default email program

I didn't know where to post this, so hopefully this is the right place... I
have office on my computer, and so whenever I click on an email address it
automatically opens Outlook. I don't really like Outlook, and prefer to just
use my gmail or yahoo mail account. Is there a way to set it so that the
default mail program is gmail. (i.e. I've got a Excel spreadsheet of
addresses, and I would like to be able to just click on an address and have
it open gmail to write send an email.)

Gmail and Yahoo are web mail programs that you access with your browser,
although Gmail can be set up in Outlook. You select your default mail program
in Internet Options, Programs. Open that and change your default to Windows'
Outlook Express (Winmail in Vista) or Office's Outlook or another program
that appears in the list.
