default email

Whenever I open Outlook it configures itself as the default email client.
After I close Outlook I change the default in programs back to Outlook
express just to have this repeat.
I don't want Outlook to be the default. How can I manage this?

You don't mention an Outlook version. In O2003 go to Tools>Option>Other(tab)
you'll see "Make Outlook default ....." Uncheck the box.
