Default Envelope Fonts - Word 2007

When I change the envelope fonts and mark them as the default Word does not
retain the font as the default. If I close the envelope page and reopen it,
the original Word default font (New Times Roman) reappears. Suggestions?

Hi Cat,

The default envelope address font is from a Word Style.

From the Home tab of the ribbon click on the 'Styles launcher' on the bottom right corner of the 'Styles' group.

Click on the 'Manage Styles' (3rd button from the left on the bottom) of the task pane that opens, then scroll down to 'Envelope
Address' and/or the 'Envelope Return' style and choose [Modify]. Some choices are available there directly, for others click the
'Format...' button on the bottom left.

Once you have it set the way you want choose the
(o) New Documents based on this template
choice prior to clicking [OK]

I have the same problem and tried your solution. It changed it for the time
I was still in Word, but even thought I told it to save this for New
Documents, I still have the same problem. This is VERY annoying.
