default font change not working / always times new roman

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

hi, am not able to change default font in word 2008. i suspect there is a problem with my input language slovak. when US keyboard is selected everything is OK, but slovak there is always TNR.

Try disabling the Word>Preference "Match font with keyboard".

That preference causes a lot of silliness if it is left switched on.

No, no, no: Save that threat for when it REALLY plays up :)

When you see the Bomb-shaped icon, that's the time to tell it very firmly
that if it does that again, you WILL throw it out the window. They behave
themselves after that :)
