Default font in Frontpage 2002

Hi

Our Agency are looking at going from Frontpage 98 to
Frontpage 2002 and we are encountering a big problem.
Because we strip our page of all formatting, we need to
set our font face and size to nothing when converting
from a Word, WP, excel et. document.

Before with Frontpage 98, we could bring a document in
and without using the "format/Remove formatting, we would
highlight our entire document and than use the "change
style" "change font" drop down box, and than
go "format/font" to identify the size to the default
which would be none.

Now, with the Frontpage 2002, you can no longer pick
default font to be nothing unless we remove all
formatting which, in our case, create problem since this
removes all bold and Italics text.

Is there another way to have the default font to
be "nothing" so we don't get <font> tags everywhere.

I really hope there is a fixe for this one as we can no
longer use Frontpage 98 since it won't open documents in
WP 10.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks
Sylvie Faulkner

Hi Stefa

This will not work on all (WPD or Word documents) on empty paragraph or blank space in Frontpage 2002. The font tag remains. Do you know if Frontpage 2003 has the same issue? We never had this problem in Frontpage 98

Thank
Sylvi

W/O a snippet or link to a page w/ the problem can't say for sure,
But FP2003 has a specific Optimize Html (include option to remove Word Formatting and empty tags)
