Default font in Word 2002 for ALL users needs to be changed.

Is there a way to change the default font for all users without having to
replace their existing normal.dot since we wouldn't want their customizations
to be lost.

I was looking at creating a separate template file containing a macro that
sets the default font but was getting hung up as to how this new
template/macro is to be applied or integrated into the normal.dot. When I
test the new template, it doesn't change the font. The original font setting
saved in the normal.dot is what takes precedence. I'm sure a step is being
missed.

Any advice is appreciated.
