Default font sizes for handwriting converted to text in OneNote

Hi. I am trying to find out if i can set a default font and size for the
text that has been converted from handwriting. I realize that in
Tools-Options-Editing i can set a default font and size for text that is
entered as text, but it does not seem to apply for text that is converted
from handwriting. Can this be done?
Thanks.

This should work for the handwriting text that was written after changing the
default font and size. The default font information gets saved to the
handwriting text as it was written.

Thanks,

Hi Doehee-

Thanks for responding to my post. Unfortunately the default font change
only seems to apply to text that is typed in as text, but not text that is
converted. In fact, when i change to using the pen, the font size on the
formatting toolbar changes to 16.5 point. When i switch back to text-typing
mode, the font size returns to 12, which i have set as my default. It seems
like very strange behavior to me, but as far as i can tell the default font
size only applies to characters entered as text and not to converted text.
Is there any way to control the default size of converted text?

thanks,

Colin

The font size of the converted text should roughly match the size of the
handwriting. If your handwriting is largish (maybe to fit in one of the
larger rule line settings), the converted text will be the same size.

Hi Colin,

What version of OneNote are you using?

OneNote 2007 uses the default font settings for converted text.
OneNote 2003 worked as Erik reponded thoguh.

Thanks,
Doehee
