Just installed Office 2007 yesterday. I have changed default fonts in
Outlook 2007 (for new messages and replies) to be what I want them to be.
Works as expected if I compose a new e-mail from scratch within Outlook, and
also if I create a message by initiating with a "Send" in Word 2007, Excel
2007, etc.
However, when I attempt to send a link from IE8 or from Avant Browser (which
uses IE engine), the following things happen:
1. IE8 - message defaults to plain text rather than HTML and uses Courier
New (the default plain text font) as font.
2. Avant Browser - message defaults to HTML (my default in Outlook) but
font defaults to the IE default font type for Webpages (Times New Roman
unless changed in IE).
This was *not* the behavior in Outlook 2003. Appears in Outlook 2007 i'm
stuck with the default font and faontsize set in IE -- is that right?
Thanks.
