default font

How do I set a default font for Powerpoint of my own choosing?

For a given presentation:

Click off the slide so nothing's selected then select a font/size. That'll
become the default for newly created text boxes.

The slide masters determine the font used for the "Click here to..." text
boxes.

You can also do this then save as a template; further presentations based on
this template will inherit the same defaults.

You can't set an overall default for PowerPoint itself.
