default mail button in entourage 2008 does nothing

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange I have an issue when i go to mail certain items such as with preview i go to mail and it opens the mac mail which I do not use. I select the default email in Entourage Preferences. Open Preferences under Entourage in the Menu bar. Select General. Click on the button Set Entourage to be my
default e-mail client and it appears to do nothing.

Any suggestions

You may have to restart Entourage and the program that is used to create
the mail message (in this case Preview) for the change to take effect.

Tried that to no avail. Even tried a reboot?
