Default mail client.

When I try to send a message using a link, for example to customer support
of a poker site, my outgoing message gets bounced back "Could not perform
this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed".
How can I fix this? In this scenario, the only way I can accomplish sending
a message right now is to copy the e-mail address, go to my Windows Mail,
enter the e-mail address, and send it from there. Please help if you can.
This way is driving me nuts. Thank you.
Cliff.

Hi Cliff,
You posted in the wrong newsgroup. This one is about the Microsoft
Access database product.

First of all, shame on you for playing poker. While it's better than giving your
money to the lottery people (the lottery is just a tax on people bad at math), it
is still a bad way to spend your time and makes me not want to help you.

Second, what was there about this newsgroup that first convinced you that it
would be a good place to get help with Windows Mail. What makes you think
it's not "Access" in the sense of "secret access to government secrets" which,
should you accidentally read one of our posts and learn something you ought
not know, result in your prompt if not mysterious disappearance from society?
(Who is John Galt?)

As for your mail problem, I cannot help you, nor can anyone else on this site.
It is a newsgroup devoted to assisting users of Microsoft Access. Besides, did
it ever occur to you that the problem isn't in your mail at all? Let's face it,
you were scammed. The poker site took your money (which it was destined to
do at some point anyhow) and gave you a bogus email to which you could complain.
Take you losses, lick your wounds and stay OFF of poker sites from now on.
