Default New slide format?

Hi,

I'm using PowerPoint 2004 for Mac.
I was wondering how I could set a preference for a default new slide
format that DOES NOT have the "Click to Add" boxes. I would like to
always start with a clean slide without any pre-defined boxes.

This used to be an option in the older versions but seems to have been
removed in ver 2004. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

You could create your own template with no placeholders (assuming you want only
blank slides to work with)

Otherwise, start a new presentation, press Cloverleaf+A, Delete
Done.
