Outlook 2007
Exchange client
User has color Lanier 331 set as Windows default printer, but with
Preferences set to black & white. It correctly prints in BW for all other
applications.
In Outlook, user double-clicks an e-mail to bring it up, then click the
ribbon, then Print. No printer appears in the Printer box. When the user
selects his default printer, then clicks Properties to check that Preferences
show BW, it still prints in color.
This appears to be yet another symptom of the same behavior I have seen for
years with Outlook - an inability to use anything except the default printer,
even when another printer is selected.
I tried selecting a different default printer, but still no printer appears
in the printer selection dialog box when printing the e-mail.
FYI: these are all networked printers, installed to the server, then shared
& installed to workstations using the PrintUI.
