Default program for email

I want to use Outlook as the default program for email, NOT Outlook Express. I selected Outlook as the default program in two different places, and uninstalled Outlook Express. But when I click on a hyperlink mailto link, Internet Explorer opens and Outlook Express window to send the email. How do I fix this so Outlook opens instead? Thank you.

Changing the default in Control Panel | Internet Options | Programs tab
should work...if not, take a look at
http://www.slipstick.com/config/defaultmailer.htm for other ideas.
