This is causing me big problems and help would be appriceated.
After changing sharepoint templates, when I create a new (project)
Sharepoint site the default project server groups are not there.
For a site under Go to Site Administration | Manage site groups I
SHOULD see
Site Group
----------
Reader
Contributor
Web Designer
Administrator
Project Managers (Microsoft Office Project Server)
Readers (Microsoft Office Project Server)
Team members (Microsoft Office Project Server)
Web Administrators (Microsoft Office Project Server)
however i only have
Site Group
----------
Reader
Contributor
Web Designer
Administrator
which means team members cannot view risks by default etc.
both options under Site provisioning settings | Grant user access to
the project team Web sites. are checked (I have tried unchecking,
saving, rechecking). I have also tried saving down a new template
modified from an old one that has these groups. I still get the same
problem.
