Hi all,
I have been using the Activex component sharepoint.opendocuments.2.
However, from my preliminary testing, it only works with office
documents (not with visio).
I need to be able to simulate this library for other file types such
as visio and MS Project.
for example, when the user clicks a create button, the visio document
is created based on a template and when the user clicks file/save
(inside visio) it defaults to the wss site where it originated.
I have looked through the visio object model but could not find
anything like a default save as (eventually need to do it for project
as well).
I don't want to save the document in the wss site to start with, since
the user can change their mind as to where to save the document, or
not save it at all.
I have seen some newsgroup items about this but no answers so far. Has
anyone been able to do this?. Any tips?.
Thanks in advance.
