hi

You know the way you can change the default location in
an office application to save/open to a particualr? Well
I have changed the default folder in word 2000 with no
problems. however when I recive an attachment in outlook
and then open it and click on file save as it always
brings me to \documents and settings\myprofile\local
settings\temp internet files\OLK2 folder. Is it possible
to change this?

Mick:

No, its not possible to change that file location for just one application.
That folder is used for any file that you open from an Outlook mail item as
a temp folder. If you want to save a file from a mail item more directly
you your normal default folder (i.e. not having to navigate quite so much,)
then when the file is closed, right click on it in Outlook and select Save
As rather than open.
