Default Setting

I'm using Word 2000 and I'm curious if there is some default setting that I'm
missing that will "convert" ALL copied text from another text source, ie.
another Word file, Internet text file, etc., and paste it into my Word document
in my default font? I seem to have to convert ALL imported text manually!
