Default Settings for a Line Graph

I'm creating about 50 line graphs in PowerPoint 2000.
I'm trying to make it easier on myself by changing the
default settings of the data markers. I want the symbol
to be the same for all data markers in on all data
series. Does anyone know how to change the default or
format all the series at once?

Try making one graph which looks the way you want it to.

Then, while still in MS Graph mode, go to Chart/Chart Type. Choose the
Custom Types tab. At the bottom, click the button to "set as default
chart."

Hopefully that will streamline the process a bit.
