default settings picture manager 2003

My earlier MS Photo program described size in inches. I moved up to 2003, but
the default is now PIXELS. EVERYTHING I do (layouts) is based on measurement
in inches. Pixels are completely useless to me, unless someone can translate
pixels to inches for me. I can't find a way to change the default setting to
inches. HELP!!!

Thank you, I appreciate it. I actually found a similar site after I posted,
but since I don't know how to work with the 3rd variable (dpi), this won't
solve my problem. Unless I can change the default to inches, I will have to
re-install the earlier photo editor to use instead.

The normal resolution for Windows is 96 dpi. If you're not familiar with it,
then it's likely that you didn't change it from the default, so you're safe
in using a value of 96.
