default settings

When I create a table I get a default line setting of
Exactly 18 pts. I know how to fix this after the table is
created, but how can I change the default to single, so
that I don't have to make the adjustment after the table
is created on every new table?

I managed to solve my own question. After going to
Visual Basic and studying the macro, what I discovered
was my new table was based on "Table Grid" style, so I
went to format / styles / table grid and changed the
paragraph setting on that style. Problem solved.
