Does anybody know the reason we cannot change the default snooze reminder
time in Outlook 2003 to be something greater than 5 minutes?
I searched Google for how to do this and people seemed to agree that that
there is no way.
As a side note, I don't understand why Microsoft would not allow us to
change the default (who would snooze for only 5 minutes for an appointment
days from the time I create it and with a setup reminder of >=1 hr? In other
words 99+% of my appointments.). This seems a perfect example of why people
look to competing open-source applications. If there is no built-in way to
change the default, and no way for anybody to write code or tweak a registry
key to change it, this is exactly the sort of thing an open source advocate
would use as an argument for why open source is superior and which I would
agree with 110% as it pertains to this fixed setting.
I like Outlook. Just wish Microsoft would give us more control.
