default templates

When I try to apply .POT files, all i can see on the right hand side of the
screen are the lame Microsoft ones. Can I change the directory to one where I
have other .POT templates and they can appear in the SLIDE DESIGN task pane?
I can't find where these files are stored. I'd be just as happy to move my
designed templates to the default directory, but can't find that anywhere.
Where does it look to find the .POTs?

This is where user templates should be

C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates

To browse to a template stored elsewhere (or even there if it doesnt show
up) click "browse" at the bottom of the design pane.
