I am trying to place a default value in a cell within a table. I am working
on a fillable form and have created a template to hold data. I have
determined how to set the default value for a text box, but am trying to
find out to set a default value for an individual cell in a table that holds
a social security number. I am specifically trying to enter the dashes
between numbers in the format as a default value.

Define the text form field as "Number" and set the number format as
###-##-#### (those are hyphens between the groups of hash marks). Then,
regardless of what users type in, you'll get the numbers in the form
000-00-0000.

I am having a similar problem. On a table I only want to "underline, italicize, bold" one cell in the whole table without changing the other cells. Did you get a reply to your question. I think your answer will help me too.

Hi Bert,

Simply select the text in that cell and apply the formatting to it.
