Default working time

Under tools-->Change Working Time, I have default timings 7AM to 5PM.
I want to change the timings to 9AM to 6PM.
I opened the Options dialog and updated the default timings and clicked on
the button "Set as Default".
However, the Change Working Time dialog, still shows the old values (i.e 8
to 5). How to set/change the default timings?

Those times and the working time calendar are not connected in any way. The
default times on the working calendar are hard coded as 8am and 5pm and
cannot be changed. You can create calendars with any working hours you
wish, but they will always be non-defualt working times. The Calendar
Options page default start and end times are actually values that Project
will supply for the time component of date/time start and end fields such as
a constraint date when you type in the date but do not type in a time along
with it.
