Defaulting to a Project Center View for a web part

Hi everyone, hope someone can help with this:

I've created a view in Project Center ( Project Server 07 PWA ) that shows
only projects filtered by a custom field.

Upon creating a webpart for Project Center and specifying the view I want, I
modified the view to include the correct view ID:

http://......./ConnectionSVCboard.a...tl00_m_g_e761a3ab_199c_4f58_a827_c95537db393b

The problem is that when a user selects a different view in the project
center, project center saves the view that was last selected instead of the
one specified.

Is there any way I can use the Project Center Web part for a specific view
only?

Thank you!

Stephan

Stephan:

I'm not 100% certain what you're doing, but I read you correctly, you want
to put the project center web part on a SharePoint page with a specific view
displayed and only that view. Understand that Project Server is trained to
remember the users selection for the next visit, so the answer is to remove
the user's capability to select other views. Once you set the view in the
web part, modify the shared web part and in the PWA section deselect show
toolbar and show menu options.

Gary,

You answered my question! This fixed it ! Thanks!

All I had to do was what you suggested:
PWA section deselect show
toolbar and show menu options.

Thanks again!
