Define a range by cells with values in them

Is there a way to create a range based on only these rows or cells
that have values in them.

Example:

A1 to C3 ..Have values in them but due to the fact I am filtering data
and adding new data then the next time I want to use my macro then A1
to C8 now may have values in them. I am wanting to create a macro the
will copy and paste only those items that have values in them.
