Define processes where it is fit to use Lined/shaded process box

I am using Visio Standard 2003
Would like to draw a flow chart to describe our (work and dataflow)
processes for ISO audit and for internal usage of new and old collagues.
Want to make it according to international standards, but for a few Visio
drawings I do not know the definition, I mean, in what cases they are to be
used. For example: what's the defnition of a "Lined/shaded process"?
In what cases should I use the "Tagged process" box, and where should I
place the tag? How to use "parallel mode" drawing? For this latter I would
apprectiate an example, with the drawing.

Many of the provided shapes are superfluous and have no meaning. Just
use the shapes that you want to use.

There are many standards, the use of many of which will cost you a
very large amount of money.

Thanks a lot Paul, esp. for the drawing.
Still, I'm interested in the answer for the initial question, e.g. how do
you define a lined/shaded process. I can translate it, but it doesn't mean a
thing to me... lack of knowledge... any book or article on the subject?

I'm not sure what you mean by "define a lined/shaded process"
There is a shape called Lined/Shaded Process, you can use this shape
in whatever way you like, the Lined/Shaded attributes of the shape
have no meaning except to make it look different. It's marketing, it
doesn't have to actually do anything in particular if it can look the
part and pull the wool over someone's eyes.
