View design of database content provides many options
which I appreciate. One view which is returned to the
user in response to an 'Advanced Find' query can be
modified as to its appearance FOR THE RESULTS OF THAT
SEARCH. Upon any subsequent use of the query tool the view
returns with the default view, not retaining any of the
user's personal modifications made to the prior one. One
does not expect to find this to be otherwise as there is,
unlike views of data that do not require that a response
window be created and opened for viewing, no apparent
option to DEFINE .....VIEW SETTINGS.
The foregoing literature could have been
preferably forsaken for this question:
Does the System allow for user defined settings to be
retained such that the search results response window
appears as the user may define it, not the «default» one?
