delay between typing and response

My problem is the same as or similar to Denis's. By mistake i held the SHIFT key down too long. A box appeared which referred to sticky keys - I chose the wrong options because now there is more than a second between typing and a response. 'HELP' doesn't help.

Can someone help me?

What happens if you hold the shift key down again for an extended time? Can
you change your options?

Hi, peteer. To turn off sticky keys, in Windows click on Start | Control Panel | Accessibility, and uncheck the "Use sticky keys" box. You can also disable the keyboard shortcut that activates sticky keys from this menu.
