Delay when using "save as" or "file open" dialog boxes.

I am experiencing a delay, maybe as long as a minute,
whenever I try to use the "Save As" or "File Open" dialog
boxes. The boxes will open, but when I select the pull
down to change to a different file location, that is when
I get the delay.

If anyone has any thoughts, please e-mail me at
