Delayed write failure

When trying to use the Pack and Go feature in Publisher 2003 to save my 500MB
project to cds, I keep getting the 'delayed write failure' error message.
Anyone know of anything I can do to get around this?

I’m going to assume that you are getting as far as saving the Pack and Go
file. By default Publisher tries to save the file to a floppy in Drive A (and
will span disks if you have enough of them), you have to give publisher
another save path (a writable CD will not work unless you have 3rd party CD
writing software that formats the CD first and accesses it as a hard drive).
I recommend saving the files to a new folder on your hard drive (in ‘My
Documents’ is a good place), then copy the file to removable media or FTP
site (depending on how you will transport the file). Do not try to email the
file as it will be probably fail.

If I’m incorrect in my assumption, let me know at exactly which step
following the wizard you are getting the message, were the saved file is
being targeted to and the type of drive.
