I have a user that is unable to add a delegate in Outlook 2007. They receive
an error message that says:
"The Delegates settings were not saved correctly. Unable to activate
send-on-behalf-of list. You do not have sufficient permission to perform
this operation on this object."
I have followed instructions from an article that specified to use Active
Directory Users and Groups, Advanced Settings, Security Settings, and I have
assigned various rights to SELF. That fixes the problem and she can then add
a delegate. However, the changes do not stick. The next day, this user is
back to no permissions assigned under SELF. What do I need to do to resolve
this problem?
