Delegated Task to Wrong Person

I had a user call me with a problem. He had delegated a task to the wrong
person, and wanted to take it back. After some quick tests, we decided the
best option was to have the delegated person reject the task so that the task
was sent back to the original user (team lead) so he could then delegate the
task to the correct person.

Is this the proper way to do it? Is there another way? It's not the greatest
solution if the person whom the task was delegated to isn't around to reject
it.

Thanks,
Erica

The project manager should reject the delegation request. Hope this helps.
