Delegates get meeting requests

Hutch

We are running Outlook XP on a Corporate network, connected to Exchange 2003.

Having an issue with Meeting requests being sent to delegates. User has
given her managers, Reviewer permissions on her calendar. Anytime she sends
out a meeting request, and some agrees, she gets a copy of the response, but
so do her delegates.

Not sure why this is happening, unless we have mis-understood how delegates
work. Her Managers only need to see her calendar, to check for appointments,
etc...they do not need to see when meetings have been accepted, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Hutch,

To turn off this feature go into Options > delegates on her outlook and take
off (under where you gave perms to view her calendar for the other people)
the "send meeting requests to delegates"

Hope that helps

Marc

Hi Marc,

Unfortunately, that is not an option. We have her Managers set as Reviewer,
but the Send meeting requests to my delegates check box is grayed out.

Perhaps we misunderstand what Reviewer is used for...my impression is that
it gives people the ability to read, and nothing else...which is what we
want. That being the case, I am at a loss as to why delegates would get the
meeting requests, especially since that option is not checked, nor can it be
checked.
