DELEGATES

Hello!

Back in Outlook 2001, when I added a Delegate to a users Inbox, the user was
able to send and receive email under the Delegates username and password. In
Entourage 2004, we seem to be having an issue with Exchange in sending mail
under the same inbox. The Inbox is there. It says it's connected. we can
receive mail. But can't send it.

We get an error that the account was incorrectly configured but I don't see
how if all you have to do is add the account in the Delegates box under the
Delegates tab in Exchange.

Any clue(s)?

Thanks!
Mm

If I could attach the actual error message we are receiving, would that be
of any help?

Also,

Where in Entourage, can I change the name of who these postings are from.
They keep popping up with my girlfriends Hotmail account when I would like
them to appear with my Exchange account since I'm the one, for once, with
the issues!

Thank you!

Since you are posting from entourage, you need to set the account associated
with a newsgroup in the newsgroup account settings.

Open 'accounts' under the Tools menu, select the news tab, and then the
newsgroup you are posting to and click the edit button. You can then choose
which mail account to use for posting in the drop down menu there.

Excellent!
Good tip!

Okay... Now... what about my issue with Delegates.
Anyone know why we can't send email received under the delegates profile
added to the users Exchange account?!

Thanks!
