Delegating Tasks

We are experimenting with Task Delegation a bit and are wondering if MS
Project Server can accomodate a specific business need. Is it possible for a
Resource Manager to delegate a task that is currently assigned to one direct
report to another direct report? I know that this is possible if the
Resource Manager is assigned to the task and then delegates the task, but I
didn't know if there is a way to delegate tasks among direct reports with the
Resource Manager having never been assigned to the task.

The RM can only reassign the task from one resource to another in the actual
Microsoft Project plan. The default Task Delegation feature in Project
Server will not address your need. Hope this helps.
