Deleta Project

We have deleted a project from Project Server Database using ODBC but project
is still visible in PWA.When we try to delete project through "Clean up
Project Server database", following message appear:

An error occured while completing the operation.

Any suggestion?

The project very likely exists in all four databases. Where did you delete
it?

Gary,

Thanks for reply. I don't have any idea about four databses but the
databases are "ProjectServer" and "ProjectServer9976". Any suggestion?

The problem with using ODBC against the PS database is that referential
intengrity in the database is handled programatically, not through database
constraints as one might expect. So, deleting a project from one table, does
not delete it from the entire database. You could revert to a backup and use
the internal tool or the PScleaner tool, or you can study the table
structure and clean-up manually. I aplogize, but I'm getting fuzzy on the
2003 database structure so I can't rattle off the tables for you, but you
can grab the svrdb.htm and prjdb.htm files from your server to explore
these.
