Delete a File

How do I delete a file in Word that I do not want anymore?
I cannot see any option to do this in Word.

You can do it in Windows Explorer, but if you want to do it in Word, then
File/Open, navigate to the folder which contains the file you want to
delete, right click on the file, Delete.
