Delete a portion of a doc defined by heading styles

Hello,

I've been working on this for awhile, but to no avail...how do I delete a
portion of a document starting at the first (for example) instance of style
"Heading 1", up to but not including, the second instance of style "Heading
1"?

I can return a collection of styles for "Heading 1", but can I index into
this collection to get to locations in a doc?

My apologies for posting this again...I hadn't realized my post to
vba.beginners had actually gone through (and that there are replies...)
