Delete a Project plan and work space

I wanted to delete a few projects and work spaces which were created but
never utilized. In MS Project 2007 I went to FILE:OPEN... selected the
project I no longer wanted and hit delete.

It seemed to work in that the Project is no longer on the list and the
workspace no lonnger appears on my home page. But I received this e-mail
from project server:

"Your DeleteWssSite job failed. Its current state is FailedNotBlocking. It
was 0% complete. It entered the queue at 09/29/2008 08:35:41.
To get more information about the job failure, please go to Project Web
Access. Select Personal Settings from the left menu. Then select My Queued
Jobs.

The errors returned from the queue are as follows:
Error ID: 26000"

Was I following the correct presses for deleteing a project and workspace?
What does this error mean?

Error ID 26000 is a generic error message. The best way I will recommend to
delete is a project is signin as administrator to PWA > Server Settings >
under Database Administration > Click on Delete an Enterprise Object > Find
the Project you want to delete > Use the checkbox Delete the associated
Windows SharePoint Services sites (If you want to delete the sharepoint site)
Click Delete.

I hope this helps.
