delete blank rows

What is an expedient way to search an excel worksheet,
find and delete blank rolls withouthaving to manually
scroll through the blank rows.

If the sequence of the rows doesn't matter, you can sort them -- all blanks
will go to the bottom and can be deleted in bulk. If the sequence IS
important, then enter 1 in an unused column at the top row, then 2 in the
cell below, and using the fill-handle, drag down to the bottom row of data.
So now you have "numbered" your data. Sort as before, delete the blank rows,
resort by the "new" column & clear the column -- all should be OK now.
