Delete Block? No (Yes)

Sean

I am using Word XP 2002
When I high light a word, a sentence or a picture I use to just hit the
delete key, and wamo gone. Now when I use the delete key at the bottom of the
window I get

Delete Block? No (Yes)

I can delete letters and spaces with the delete key. The ctrl-delete command
dose work. I’m afraid to reset words default key board as Snagit and pdf995
add-ons commands will be lost. So as I under stand it. Don’t want to think of
that kind of mess.
help Please

You are welcome. Simple, only if you know the answer before the question
comes up.
