"Delete Block? No (Yes)

I used to be able to block text and push the delete key
and it was deleted. Now, somehow this feature must have
got toggled on, and it asks me every time I push
delete, "Delete Block? No (Yes)", regardless if I'm
deleting blocked text or a selected graphic!

Help! How can I turn this feature off?

Tools - Options - General, and remove the checks next to both of the
WordPerfect options.
